Geology & Art
Nicole Collodoro grew up in Northern Wisconsin and spent most of her youth exploring the surrounding wilderness with her family including her father, a geologist. Her love for nature and the outdoors is reflected in the stones and natural materials she uses in her designs. She comes from a long line of artists, musicians, and creatives carrying on the tradition of self expression and creativity as an important aspect of the human experience. In 2000 she began attending Minneapolis College of Art & Design, where she graduated with a BFA in Sculpture in 2004. Since then she has focused on creating small scale works and jewelry.
